What we are building
Ridiculous name. Serious economics.
Editorial information reviewed .
Our aim: help people understand the forces shaping their money—and ask better questions about them.
The mission
Economics should be useful before it is impressive. Fuckanomics is an early-stage publication of explainers and commentary about money, markets, technology, energy and public policy.
We aim to be skeptical without becoming cynical, accessible without hiding complexity, and evidence-led regardless of political affiliation. Those are editorial goals, not a claim that we have eliminated bias.
Our definition of “Fuckanomics” is our own branding, not an established academic discipline or professional credential.
The standard
Identify the question. Explain the evidence. Show the arithmetic. Label opinion and hypothetical examples. Admit what remains unknown.
AI assists with research, drafting and review. It can make mistakes. Source links and review dates describe what was checked; they do not imply an independent economist or fact-checking organization has certified the content.
Our articles are general education and commentary, not personalized investment, tax or legal advice. No financial outcome is promised.
How we verify & correctThe current edition
